Narrow deck (32″) vs wide deck (46″) — which fits your job?

This is the choice that matters at 26 ft:

Narrow deck (SJIII3226, GS-2632) — go this route if:

• You’re working in tight aisles where 46″ won’t fit
• You’re a one-person operation
• You want a lighter machine (~700 lb less than the wide-deck variants)
• You want the lower acquisition cost

Wide deck (SJIII4626, GS-2646) — go this route if:

• You frequently work two-up on the platform
• You’re loading materials onto the deck (signs, conduit, fixtures)
• You need the higher capacity (1,000 lb vs 500 lb)
• You can spare the extra 700 lb on the floor load

For most retail and facility-maintenance work, narrow deck is enough. For construction and trades work where you’re hauling materials up, wide deck pays for itself.

What “fully refurbished” means

Same standard on every 26 ft unit:

• New batteries. Fresh 24V flooded lead-acid pack, watered and load-tested.
• New tires. Non-marking, indoor-grade.
• New charger. Tested through a full charge cycle.
• Rebuilt control box. Joystick, switches, e-stops on platform and ground.
• Hydraulic system inspected every time. Fluid tested and replaced only if outside spec.
• Full ANSI/OSHA inspection. Certificate and photos go with the unit.
• Paint — done to order. Sanded down, primed, repainted to factory-fresh, decals replaced.

What’s the working height of a 26 ft scissor lift?
32 ft. ANSI working height = platform height + 6 ft (the average reach height of a person standing on the platform).

Can a 26 ft scissor lift fit through a standard service door?
The narrow-deck models (SJIII3226, GS-2632) are 32″ wide and fit through most service doors. Wide-deck (46″) models won’t — confirm your access dimensions before buying wide.

Why are the wide-deck units rated for 1,000 lb instead of 500?
The 46″ wide platform supports a heavier load distribution. Capacity drops on the deck extension (typically 700 lb) — full capacity is for the stowed platform.

Can I rent before I buy?

How long until you can deliver?
